Everlands

As opposed to the traditional destination club real estate model of acquiring homes in resort areas, Everlands seeks to acquire luxury vacation homes that merge land preservation with five star service and accommodations. Instead of buying stand alone homes, Everlands often buys entire lodges of 10 to 15 rooms, allowing members to travel at the same time and intermingle with one another much more like a country club. Every year, Everlands sponsors the Everlands Conservation Prize, a $1 million award given to individuals whose innovations exemplify the Everlands preservation mentality. Everlands’ members play a crucial part in nominating and reviewing all the candidates up for the award.
